I was trained in design in London in the early 1980's working for several companies in the city designing window displays all around London, then later after moving to the Medway towns I trained in fine art.
Before the birth of my son I came back to Scotland to be near family, in the 90's I returned to college to finish training in illustration and fine art graduating not long after. Over the years I have exhibited work with the R.S.W the R.S.A overseas with Flying Colours Gallery in New York and London and with Galleries around the UK. I have had fun working on Projects in the USA as an Illustrator and have also had several years fun teaching in community education and in Art in health care projects.
I opened up My Etsy shop a while back but a long run of very bad health has held me back a bit with this. I am now almost back on track ( I hope ! ) and am in the process of reopening my shop to sell my other work in textiles these should be available January 2018.
..I love to recycle ... I have a shop selling harbours made from scrap woods and discarded finds on Folksy and here I will be selling my birds made from vintage and antique lace and textiles
my artwork is published with Natural Partners Art as cards and prints look for Morag Lloyds http://www.naturalpartnersart.co.uk
